Grand Rapids Real Estate!
My friend has her super cute, move in ready, Grand Rapids home for sale! I recently photographed it for her on a gorgeous, sunny day in hopes to move it fast! I always think that good photos on a listing help so much!
You can view the listing here!
What an adorable family! I met them at Beth’s parent’s house on Lake Michigan and it was gorgeous! They had a small wooded area behind their house and access to the big lake. We took advantage of this and photographed at both locations. Although the wind was crazy, we still had lots of fun….except for those million stairs down to the beach
It seems like it has taken forever….but we are so excited to finally share our new blog with you! My goal was to make it a little more fun, a little more colorful and a little more me! I hope you love it as much as we do!
Although we are about a quarter through this year….I am so excited for 2012! This year will bring many gorgeous weddings from Traverse City to Saugatuck, lots of new and old sweet little kiddos and their families, fun seniors, lots of our lives and another new surprise! We are moving! It is bittersweet, but oh so exciting. Fremont has been my home for my entire life, but Joe and I are moving to the big city of Grand Rapids! I expect this move to bring many new faces in front of my lens as well as lots of new opportunities for our family! But do not worry Newaygo County-ers …. I still plan on hanging out with you as much as possible too! I mean….GR isn’t that far away! Terra, who you met last year, will continue shooting with us in 2012 as well! Yeah! This makes me happy …. b/c I kinda like her
After all of that is said …… we are excited to see what the future holds and happy that you will be there to take the journey with us! Keep reading our pretty new blog to see what super fun things we are up to!
Here we are…..if you want to know more about us…..check out the main website!
I adore my parents. They are just awesome! I know that most everyone will think their parents are the best, but I have proof to back up why mine actually are!
The Top Ten reasons why my parents are the best:
1 – They are so kind and so nice. They would help anyone out in need and constantly are thinking of others.
2 – They believe in me. One day I told them that I wanted to be a photographer – a couple weeks later, they purchased my first camera!
3 – They work hard and always have. My brothers and sisters and I all inherited a good work ethic because of them.
4 – My dad is hilarious. He always has a joke or a story to tell that usually leaves me crying and laughing all at the same time.
5 – My mom is so smart. Growing up, my sister and I always asked her random questions…and she almost always knew the answers!
6 – They are genuine. You always know that they will be there for you and will tell you how it is even if it isn’t what you want to hear. This actually is a good thing
7 – They love unconditionally. As teenagers (even as adults), we all do things wrong. No matter the severity, they love us anyway!
8 – They raised us in a good home with good values. Even though we stray from the right things at times, we always have that solid foundation to go back to.
9 – They are best friends. It is so important that after 29 years of marriage, they are still best friends. They give me someone to look up to in my marriage.
10 – Last but not least, they made me! That right there makes them the best, right? lol….
Here they are…my mom & dad!
They wanted snow for the pics….so we had to wait and wait with this crazy winter!
I look just like my dad, but with long hair. My sister could be my mom’s twin…..funny how that works out!
Love you guys!!
The day started off perfectly….the sun was shining, the temperature was nice and I was excited to go into our last wedding weekend of the year! We met Christine and her bridesmaids at the JW Marriott in downtown Grand Rapids to photograph her preparations and beautiful details. From the time that they opened up the hotel door, we felt welcome! Christine was smiling from ear to ear and so excited to see her groom. The bridesmaids were making sure every last detail was in place and ready to celebrate their sister’s big day! Terra and I had our cameras in hand, ready to capture every moment of it!!
Christine’s Alfred Angelo dress was so pretty…..and very detailed.
Yes! Purple shoes…..in love!
I love when couples incorporate details that are meaningful to them. Here is Christine holding her grandmother’s handkerchief.
Christine made a gorgeous bride!
One of her sisters even made these cute hangers!
On the way to meet her man…..
Rob’s expression is priceless! LOVE!!
Christine’s bouquet was so pretty! Shelly from Shelly’s Designs is ah-ma-zing!
Romantic shots like this make me swoon!
After photos downtown, we headed to Thousand Oaks Golf Course for a few more photos and the ceremony and reception! What a stunning venue!!
The ceremony room was so pretty. I just love these chairs!
This image of Christine entering the ceremony with her father gives me goosebumps. It is dramatic and exciting all at the same time!
