Grand Rapids Engagement Photographer // Tom & Ashley!

I’m really starting to think that my clients are models….like for real!  Tom & Ashley did an amazing job being photographed.  It always helps when the couple is super comfortable with one another…sneaking small squeezes and little kisses in when they think I’m not looking.  Definitely makes my job easy!

We started their session off in downtown Grand Rapids.  Morning shooting is some of my favorite time for a session….the sun is lower in the sky, locations aren’t busy and the temps are still a little on the cooler side.  After we wandered one of GR’s gorgeous city blocks, we headed to a nearby park to grab a few last images next to the Grand River.   A gorgeous and fun way to start the day!

Avid craft beer drinkers…….it wasn’t quite noon so they didn’t actually drink them….

I’m glad they are so adventurous…..I love the bottom left images!
